Two-thirds of Americans report they don’t have enough sleep. It turns out it’s the technology to be one of the reasons.

Webpage FX has created an infographic that takes a closer look at how Americans use their gadgets and how it affects their health – especially when it comes to the evening activity.

65% of adults have slept with a cell phone next to their beds. 84% of Americans watch TV or videos within an hour before going to bed.

Late night technology use is associated with sleep disorders, stress, and depressive symptoms, and people who use computers within the hour before trying to fall asleep are 50% less likely to report getting a good night’s sleep.
